I chased a vibration for a long time after I installed 2-3 parts on the car at the same time. Turned out it was an incorrect pinion angle. I messed with it several times, finally watched the BMR video, and followed BMR's instruction. Vibration disappeared immediately afterward.

I found my vibration for those who are still struggling. It ended up being that my brand new moser 9" housing was bent. 125 dollars later I had all new seals and no vibrations

Where was it bent exactly? How did replacing the seals help the problem?

Same problem. Thought the same with the tailshaft bushing. When I rebuilt my other T56 I ran a rockland no walk bushing...still didn't go away. Thought it might be a bent axle or something in the rear so I swapped it out with a spare. Didn't fix a thing. Had a new yoke, u-joints, and driveshaft balanced. Still same problem. I am lowered with the stock torsion bar. I'm gonna recheck the pinion angle once I get my 383 build and back on the road.

The housing was bent. Not the axles, nothing internal, just the entire housing was bent. They straightened it and replaced the seals that were leaking. All replacing the seals did was stop the leaking, but I think they were eaten up because the housing was bent.
