Depends on how hard you like to take speed bumps.
I have Eiboch Sportlines on my car with Hooker LTs.
I've since removed those springs for that very reason.

(Well, that and the whole drag shock/spring thing)

Daily driven? I scrape over most speed bumps and dips. I have pacesetters so it's not a huge deal, i think most of my scraping is on the cutout, that hangs the lowest. What springs are you using?

They look so much nicer when lowered! (do f-body's need new shocks/struts when you put on lowering springs?, my old gt it was recommended to replace both at the same time cuz shocks/struts crapped out quickly from factory) Sorry OP, i ask this cuz it's related to your thread, In my area we don't have many speedbumps or extreme inclines so long tubes and springs are doable. Just think of your area and if there is a lot of speedbumps, inclines, declines and whatnot you may want to stay away from one of the two..

I had good luck with mids while lowered.

I would definitely look into some new shocks. The stock ones are crap to begin with, if you're looking for a good budget shock Sam Strano has several options. I'd shoot him a PM or visit his website www.stranoparts.com

Elliott, please let me know how that works for you! We have almost the same mods, except for the LE2 part lol. I'm thinking about going from my Macs to the LPP's but I wanna know how the clearance is and what kind of sound difference there is if any.

My front dam scrubs on everything, I've grinded a hole at bottom of right header and had to weld it shut. I love how it looks but I'm gonna have to raise it back up some.

You can always buy used longtubes for really cheap that are already dinged up, then you won't worry about it anyway.

My car had Eibach Sportlines on them when I bought it. After I installed my longtubes, I could not make it in and out of my driveway, and speed bumps were NOT an option. I bought some used WS6 springs and have been riding on them since. I'll never slam it that low again. I'll probably end up with Strano or BMR springs.
