IMO that is the wrong attitude and wont help.
I think the approach should be one of disappointment and not understanding why the call was made.

The day is done and it's over with this complaining. Yes, I was disappointed as well for them not opening today. I was up late doing last minute sparkplugs, differential fluid changes and other ****, then to wake up knowing the track is closed due to salt on the roads. So let's just say, "Better luck next time!" Winter is here again, and Spring will be here before you know it. Besides, it's time to start planning for that next mod(s) and set that goal:and that is to be faster than the year before. Have a good holiday, everyone!!!

There's always next year.

Regarding my car, yes, the number was on nitrous. TNT F1 plate. Setup is nothing special, but gets the job done. LE heads and intake were just done this fall by Speed Inc., so the car still needs more track time. The car hardly ever sees the light of day, so most likely some of you local guys have never seen me. Any more questions, just ask Larry. He knows the car better than I do.

Since I grew up in Peoria, me and my buddies would head to Cordova Drag Strip for Hangover Day Jan 1st. But now that Im up in the NW burbs, thats kind of a haul. Went up there this year for Vicary Day with the Trans Am and it took me maybe 2 hours. Just a thought if you guys are still itching for some racing and the weather is decent?

Well IMO I think stating that im dissapointed and not understanding the call would do squat. Since I do understand but think its total BS.
I think stating that myself as well as lots of others did alot of work to prepare for sat and they shut down for some bogus *** reason would at least get the point across. (Ill bet nobody wanted to come into work so they called it)
Acting dissapointed and stupid does not get you anything. Being pissed and making a complaint does. Im a store Manager and this is a fact!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW I didnt do anything because its too late anyways and Ill just focus on next spring.

Larry Im with you for the shootout!!! Ill be there!!

Will tech at the shootout let a low-11 high-10 second car slide without a rollbar?

I do think it would be a problem since they do state cars have to be legal.

drive it down and run brackets or extreme street na

because some people have true, true street cars which are fast...take the family out, baby seats, etc

We have no cage in my dad's 01 Z/28 H/C/N20 which goes 10.4@130 and really don't want to. The car is his weekend grocery getter.
