I will run this cam with stock heads when I find a garage to rent so I can get some work done to it. It'll only be temporary. Anyone have a used one for sale?

This is what is planned to go into my car this winter. I am shooting for 340 rwhp on a 355 with 11.5:1 Compression, and all of the supporting mods.

If the car is running fine, I see no reason not to.
If it's having issues, diagnose them before installing a cam.

The 503 is a great off-the-shelf grind for a 350 or 355. A little small for a 383.
Peak power RPM range is just about right for a stock bottom end too.
A lot of the H/C guys run similar grinds with a more overlap.

the car runs great/pulls strong. It's been well taken care of and i hear these engines can last to 200k, so i dont see why not.

my car has a stock shortblock with 101k and I've been running a CC503 for about 15k miles now. have had absolutely no problems with it either.

love the torque curve, and decent hp too.
