What lifters do i need???

im going to be running a gm 847 and i was wondering what would be a good lifter, i have a stock lt1 with 104k on it and i think its time to upgrade them

Well, you can inspect the stock one's and reuse.
Or since your asking about newer one's, LS7 lifters.

LS7's and they are the new replacement LT1 lifters.

Yea definatley use the LS7 lifters, you should also check your pushrod length. There have been alot of discussion on whether the cup in the lifter sits higher or lower than the stock ones. Whether or not its true you should still check it.

with those miles I would change them to the LS7s also.

Good on you for changing them while you are in there, I had one let go that had only 85k on it. I guess lifters are weird though, my stock motor has 167k on it, never had any valve train issues.
