PS removal?? How to?

PS removal?? How to? Has anyone done this on a LT1 car? I know my buddies do it in their mustangs all the time? Whats all needed to do this? And how bad is the driving? I've driven cars that came from the factory without ps and can live with that, the only places i think its going to on the street will be cruise nights or just to work everynow and then.
We have an alternator relocation kit which moves it down low and takes place of the acc. bracket.

There are a lot of people who just cut and loop the rack lines. I did purchase my car and the rack was done this way. The steering is very tough especially if not running a skinny front tire.
The correct way is using a manual rack from MadMan which we can set you up with as well. prices are incorrect on our site

i dont know if this applies to fourth gens, but with my IROC drag car, i bought a new manual steering gear for a 1987 S10, pulled all of the brackets out and the pump and lines and kept the stock pitman arm and used the new manual steering gear.
