not to hijack. but my uncle does mobile motorcycle dyno tuning and tuned a turbo buse that put out over 650 HP and 700 TQ. it was a drag bike though. that sounds like fun.

to the OP:

gears and spray would help you hang with him, if not slaughter him. just dont let him know your spraying

Go the bolt-on route, you shouldn't need much more than that.

Def. go wet, dry doesn't work so well with LT1s. Nitrous Outlet usually has kits with everything you need, at least get a window switch with whatever kit you are going to run.

Unless going from a roll the gears will probably hurt you from a dig, tons of wheelspin.

thanks..i was originally leaning towards dry thinking it was a simpler system,,but since have changed my mind,,not very pc savy or i would post a link but im looking at the kit that the sponsor DynoTune has for the lt1.says its a complete kit for 299.havent found a comparible kit to come close in price.am i missing something?is this really a "complete kit"

and i dont want to add more wheel spin as that is already a problem from a dig.cant get my bfg's to hook..but im still on my stockers 16x8,,245-50

Well most of the kits are complete in the way that yes you will be spraying. I'm just saying look around at more kits to see what else comes with them. You will def. want a window switch at a minimum, there are many other things you can add on though. Sometimes both dynotune and nitrous outlet both have combination deals where you can get the accessories for a good price included with the basic kit.

Dynotune kit will probably work just fine for your goals, you may want to check out the nitrous section on here if you have any questions.

"Kens Mobile Dyno"? Does he go to events like StuntWarz? If so he did a few pulls on my lil 6er during the 08 StuntWarz. 110rwhp and 350lbs is plenty of power:weight for some good fun .

Back on topic - gears and spray would kill him. Also, if you run from a dig full bolt-ons(aka dont forget SUSPENSION) should take him as well but be a lot more expensive.

Cheapest route would be some 4:10s and a dry shot.

Don't bother with gears right now, leave the 10 bolt as is, it'll hold up longer, you'll like the 3.42s better on the bottle anyways, in all honesty, once you hit the nitrous, you'll have ALL the gear you need beleive me, just get some stickier tires, window switch, make sure your fuel pressure is good to go, you can either get it tuned for nitrous through the PCM, or get a Mallory 685 box, or just run a mix of some 105 unleaded race fuel, i would say get the basic genaric NX kit from Nitrous Outlet, its 360.00, but i'm sure the kit from Dynotune for 299.00 is about the same, go WET on the LT1.

Can't reiterate enough, DO NOT GO DRY! Its great on LS1 cars cause they can read the shot and readjust for fuel, on the LT1 you need a boost a pump, completely not worth the trouble. Dry is way more expensive than wet on a LT1, and its not a good way to go.

Check your fuel pressure before spraying it, make sure your pump is in a healthy working order.

Wet, Wet, Wet! I'm with the others, get a wet kit, window switch, blow down tube, and some TR6 plugs.

YOU DONT NEED N20 yet! LTs, ory, cut out, pulley, ewp, 1.6 RRs,4.10s and MT DRs.
Cheapest would be just adding a shot. Altough a rebuild is more expensive in the long run!

Hahaha! Sorry I didn't think about that when I first posted and I havn't checked back until now. I'm not your guy...

Where are you in NC?

Edit: nevermind saw you were in Charlotte, I'm a little north up near Davidson and Mooresville.

Edit2: Did you ever race this guy on the spray?

A small HIDDEN nitrous system spraying a 75 shot would do the trick.
