Default Looking into true duals

I already know I want to buy some Pacesetter long tube headers. What kind of true duals do you guys recommend? Custom or name? Also, can I just order headers/exhaust, or is there something in between I'm missing?

Id go custom with either flowmaster 1 chambers or borla xr1s dumped if you want loud.

If you want quiet go with hooker aerochambers behind the axle.

I'm going to try and stay emissions friendly, so I'll be getting Pacesetters w/ emissions fitting. Besides the Summit kit, I'll need mufflers apparently. Is that all, or will I need to order high flow cats as well?

I had mine custom made at a local muffer shop. I currently have the pacesetters with a 3" h-pipe into spintech pro shoot out mufflers dumped at the rear. The h pipe was necassary to clear the torque arm. My pacesetters are for sale btw.

I've got Pacesetter LT's, Jegs 2.5" x-pipe kit(Exact same as Summit), and a couple single chamber mufflers(Flowmaster knock-offs from ebay, $60shipped for the pair). Then, I had them take the piping under the axle to out back.

I'd recommend buying the Summit Universal X-Pipe with some header reducers (if going w/ 2.5" duals) some hangers, and whatever mufflers you like then taking it to a reputable shop to have it fabbed up. I have the Summit 2.5" Kit with Dynomax Bullets and it works real for me and sounds great.

It's fine now that I got my mufflers moved back. When I had my mufflers in the spot most people have them, they were only a few inches off the ground and scraped everything. I need to get some pics up of the new location sometime though. With how it is now, my headers are the lowest part of the car.

If you ever plan on a chassis mount torque arm, the x pipe will be right in the way. I had to ditch my x for an h when I changed TQ arms.

I think I'm going to get the following:

Pacesetter LT headers (with emissions)
Summit 3" X-pipe
High-flow cats (suggestions?)
Bullet mufflers (also?)

Is there anything I'm missing? Btw, you pretty much have to dump the exhaust with this setup, correct?

Wouldn't you basically bottom out just by giving it gas? :/

It's really not that bad. Just watch out for speed bumps. It's better if you have the mufflers put right after the rear axle too. I haven't scraped at all since I've had my mufflers moved back. There's only been one time. And it's because I hit a small bump running around 160, or more. And it was just a tiny little scrape.

I have the summit 2.5 inch kit. I would buy the 3 inch instead though. Not for the "power" increase, but for the looks of it. 3 inch pipe are huge compared to the 2.5 inch pipe.
