Search for threads in the Appearance section. You really are trying to make you're car into an LS1 aren't you?

isn't the 97 console the same or similar to the 98+? I know some have done that. Also, are you talking the whole dash or just the center (armrest) piece?

I have done that swap, pretty simple. The cig lighter wont work though, you need to change the pigtail out or some thing to that effect. I really haven't gotten around to it. Also leave the hard plastic nipple on the bottom of the console. I cut mine off and I wasn't able to take the keys out the ignition because the console was laying on some cables that allow the key to be released when the car is in park.

only crappy part is i just ordered a redline shift boot and e-brake boot, so now i will have to get rid of them, might keep the e-boot though and get another shift boot.

i have a 2000 console in my car. I just put it in because the ******* lids break in the LT style and i didnt want to mess around with that nonsense anymore.

The install will take 30min.

the gauge cluster i think will, but you will need to go to a dealership with your old cluster so they can calibrate the digital miles. As far as other switches, the 93-96 didnt have TCS puttons where the 97+ do
