Default Suspension or nitrous?

I'm in a dilema.. I can't quite yet afford a new cam swap so I'll have to suffice with my setup as is. BUT, in the meantime, should I get some suspension (subframe connectors, control arms/relocation brackets), or should i purchase a small single fogger setup? I kind of wanted the nitrous but some people said its pointless without suspension because im going to be hitting the wall at the track lmao. Any ideas?

You should do the suspension first. Usually if you build the motor first you never get around to doing suspension and you never see the full potential of you setup. Look at me. I built the motor first. Now, I wish I had built the car from rear to front. I wouldn't be worried about breaking rearends, clutches, etc.etc.

I agree, start from the back and work to the front. Rear end, suspension, trans...I did engine first on my last car. Had a high reving 355 with the factory 3.08 7.5 rear end that made the car a dog on the street. Then when i did put a rear end in the car, it would never hook up with the stock suspension.

does the car have any traction issues at all now NA? if not you can bet you will with N20 !

if it does have traction issues now then plan for more with N20

point is... I would suggest getting a few suspension things to aid with making the car work well with or without adding the N20 unless you like to do long burn outs

suspension for sure. you will have a hell of a time hooking on street tires with spray without some suspension upgrades, and if you are on slicks you have to realize that the 10 bolt may be on borrowed time.

i have BMR poly/rod LCA's and matching PHB, LCARBS, and koni's in the rear, i hook way better with just those few parts than i did on stock suspension, not even having spray or a cam.

Yeah, I have issues hooking right now N/A even with my stock stall and radials \= Maybe I'll do suspension first. Like someone mentioned, it has to be done eventually, might as well do it now

if you cant hook now, spray wont do any good, or at least not as much good as getting her to stick on a launch.

What good is power if you can't get it to the ground? Thats what I think so the smart thing is to do suspension first. Get what you have working well then add power once you have everything set up.

Rob, I have to admit I like that bubblebutt also.
OP, I did the engine first, now all I do is spin. I am in the process of improving the suspension before I put some real power down with the new engine.
If I had it to do over again, I would do the suspension first so I could take advantage of the added power when it came along. Live and learn.

i say suspension as well, you have to get the power to the ground first. No use in gettin the spray if your just gonna spin tires down the road.
