Need help

For some reason my Fans just keep kicking on and then off.. My car isn't running hot at all, unless my temp guage is off, even when i first start the car the fan starts kicking on and off. If anyone has any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a 1995 or earlier car? Does the SES light come on when the fans do? The fans will run when a code is thrown on OBDI cars.

No it's a 97.. And it isn't throwing any codes..

I know the fans are supposed to turn on when you run the A/C, but im not sure if they are supposed to come on right when you crank the car.
When you run the defroster the A/C pump comes on and triggers the fans, maybe that is it???

you can do what i did and just run a cable from the battery to the fans splice it to a ground then to a toggle just make sure you have a fuse and your good to go
