Default ob2 to ob1

i have lt1 out of a 95 z28 and i want to put it in my 96 rs camaro. the lt1 came with the ecu and harness. what do i need to change to make it work. Thanks

if you have emmisions testing in your area it may be a concern.. they plug into the ALDL port for OBDII cars to test the system it will read"no communacation with PCM" causing you to fail. your best bet is to change the timing cover to a 96/97 and get a 96/97 engine harness and pcm that will also include rear o2s,you will also need to change your icm as well cause the plug is different. it will be well worth the swap in the end.

wats the difference between the 95 and 96 timing cover

The 96-97 cover has provisions for a crank sensor. A 95 has no crank sensor.
