Default Timing Chain

If I run an electric water pump can I run any timing chain set?

Any SBC type that is made for use with the late model roller cams. The Cloyes 9-3145 is a popular choice for a double roller. You may have to slightly clearance your timing cover.

Just stick to the stock one and buy a new replacement from GM Parts Direct. $35..no need for a dbl roller. The stock timing chains hold up just fine.
