Bit of a different question, but here it goes...

Bit of a different question, but here it goes... So, some of you may know I waxed a curb a year back and screwed up my rear and cracked a rim really bad. I retired my Salad Shooters and got some nice 5 Spokes. We cannibalized the rear for it's disc and posi for my buddies S-10, but he only has 15" rims, and I have 3 good 16" rims.
Now here's the question: I know that the Grand National guys like to use the 3rd Gen F-Body rims, but can a 89 S-10 use the 4th Gen rims, or will the rim offset (or is it backspacing?) not work out? It's a 2WD of course and will have a 350 in it shortly, but the shop I work at is getting rid of some older tires and a lot are 16", so it would be nice to get some new tires that'll hook up nicely.
If you really think this belongs in the Wheels and Tires section, fine. I just figured due to them being 4th Gen rims, people here would know more about them specifically as apposed to the other section so I don't have to go and measure them
