Default LE2 heads/cam

What is mandatory as far as a stock **motor?**

Injectors are
Is a fuel pump or boost a pump?
timing chain probably recommended?
Rockers
guideplates
pushrods
What am I missing?

Also anybody know if the lift numbers on the cams on the site are for 1.6s? I assume so.

I'm trying to put together a possible shopping list.

shorter hardened pushrods. you will need a pushrod measuring tool to measure exactly before you buy them since the heads will be milled down slightly.

30# injectors
headgaskets,
new head bolts
lots of thread sealant
intake manifold gaskets,
waterpump gaskets,
timing chain cover gaskets and seals
new valve cover gaskets if yours are old.
coolant,
oil.
oil filter
RTV sealant for the intake manifold
cam lube
lifters if your engine has a lot of miles on it


if your feul pump is still working i wouldnt worry about it. its not necessary.

Look into the Delphi 37# injectors
Racetronix fuel pump
New timing chain (no need for a dbl roller/heavy duty)
1.6 rockers self aligning (no need for guide plates with the self align rockers)
Autolite 104 spark plugs
pushrods, locks, shims, retainers
ls7 lifters
Bigger throttle body 58mm if you do heads and cam
Might not be a bad idea to have the intake ported as well
all the ness gaskets

A4 or M6? Have you decided on what cam you are going with? You may need to look into a different stall and gears to make the set up run to it's full potential...

A4... 3.42s and 3200 stall already. No problem there.

im going to be ordering my LE2 setup with the intake ported as well pretty soon. i cant wait! i just need to start gathering all of the little things before i order haha

What make converter? And as mentioned, put a better fuel pump in.
