Thicker oil is better.

But why not find the leaks and fix them (if they aren't too extensive)?

The best way to stop leaks? Drain all the fluids out.

i used to get upset about it but if it leaks at least you know it has fluid in it

Except that Ive never seen a T56 that didnt "sweat" fluid.

Mine is freshly rebuilt and it seeps along with the 20+ other decent mileage t56 cars Ive had on the lift.

Mine used to not leak at all, then I did a cam swap now it sweats a little. Just enough to really **** me off to cause everytime I through it on the rack I hit the whole underside with degreaser and clean it up.

Well now it seeps just enough make me mad but not drip.

Ill fix it with a new motor.

lets see here.... intake leak, timing cover leak, oil pan leak.... only ones i dont have is rear main seal and dipstick tube... just replaced both with the tranny swap and headers install....
