well the car has been off the road now for about 8 months after i blew a headgasket and bent a pushrod, because i didnt have the money to tear it apart. Well after 4 months i decided to pull the motor and see what al was done. Turns out i tore the head gasket to shreds, bent 2 pushrods, broke 2 lifters, scratched the hell out of cam, and definetly made my heart drop. So i tored everything apart.

Im sure im forgetting things but thats all i can think of off of the top of my head. My main question is what cam would you guys run? i plan on running 1.7 roller rockers, and the spec sheet for the headssay they are good for a 600 lift cam. who makes a 575-600 lift camfor the lt1? i wanna run a big of cam s possible, but im trying to squeez every ounce of power i can out of this setup, and i will be spraying it with a 150 shot. i dont wanna sound like every other person asking about what everyone thinks this setup will produce, but im thinking anywhere between 400-450 on motor, what do all of you think? it will be mated to a built 4l60e with a 3200 stall and 3.42 rear end. i have a full hotchkis suspension under it and 315 rear drag radials. i appreciate all of your help and i will be posting pics very soon!
