4l60e vss sensor Are the sensors the same for a tranny from a roadmaster compared to one from a f-body? The pcm thanks I have 3.08 gears when in fact I have 3.23. Will this throw the speedo off?

The PCM thinks that ratio cause that is what is programmed into the PCM, that has nothing to do with the VSS. Yes it will throw the Speedo off, it will read faster than it is actually moving.
All the VSS does is pick up the signal from the Reluctor Ring on the Output Shaft of the Transmission. For the 4L60E it's a 40-Pulse Signal.
