I bought this 1.6 rr through jegs , the problem is they dont clear the stock valve covers, if i gut out the valve covers will it loose its shape and loose oil.

last I checked Pro-mags were the only clearance issue rockers with stock covers. Even then just straightening the L-shaped brackets is all that is required... If those are wide body also, bend the L-shaped support brackets, then report back.

You may need to clearance them. Cut on the intake manifold side of both valve covers.

You should have no clearance problems after that. Make sure that you adjust them properly.
