Almost no advantages at your performance level. A spark based rev limiter is nice to have but not necessary on mild setups.
In the 70s and 80s stock ignitions were weak and left room for improvement, by the mid 90s though they were looking hard for idle emmisions improvement and 100K mile tuneup intervals so ignitions of the 90s and later leave little room for improvement.

On our setups (somthing like yours or mine) I didn't notice a difference and I doubt you would. I use it for the peace of mind of a decent rev limmiter in case of missed shifts
and I have a 2 step to make launches more consistant. I just hooked my box up a few days ago and I really haven't noticed any difference. Only advantage it gave me was it made it simple to connect my shift light and adjust my rev limit.
