K&N FIPK tube adapter sucks
I had my K&N FIPK for years works fine. However, the tube adapter that connects the actual platstic intake tube to the MAF does not fit correctly. I can't get the MAF housing end into the rubber tube where it needs to be. I can't get it deep enough for the worm clamp to actually grab it and it doesn't make a really good seal anyway. Does anyone else have this same problem? What else can I use to connect the two together?

It sounds like your trying to use the piece that is only for 93's - the K&N kit comes with a 4" adapter because 93's don't have a MAF. Since you have a 94, you should just be able to hook the intake to the elbow.
Hahahaa, I bought a Moroso CAI for a 94-97 and I needed to make it fit my 93.

that may be the case. the MAF hardly goes into the rubber piece that connects the maf to the K&N intake tube. i had left it as is since i didnt feel any air escaping and when i got into tuning i chose to run in SD mode. now that i decided to tune the MAF sensor its aggravating me. i'll hit up Home Depot and get a fernco coupling. if it looks crappy then I just order a silicone turbo coupling.

yep, that piece sucks. A Fernco isn't a good solution for this particular setup either, a 4" will swallow the MAF and cranking down on a hose clamp to make it up is ghetto. You need a 4" to 3.5" coupler. 4" for the K&N and 3.5 for the MAF. I used a turbonetics coupler for mine, but there are others out there.

Another solution is to go to Checkers or Pepboys and look at the stuff made by Spectre. They make pieces to make your own CAI and I remember the last time I was there they had couplers in all sizes and colors - I wish I would have seen those before I ghetto-rigged mine.

I went to HD and picked up a fernco 4-3 coupler and it fits WAY better. I suggest that when you buy the kit throw away the adapter tube it comes with go to HD and pick up one of them for 10 bux. Or if you already had the kit forever like me just go out and buy it anyway. The whole MAF housing end goes into the coupler and a lot more of the intake tube as well. The pic below shows it:
