Re: 396 Dyno #'s it is a custom grind cam that was suggested by Lazer Cams. Looking at the specs it seems small but they said it would work very well with my heads.
I have a GTP #5 that came out of the Car when we built the stroker. .560/.560 238/244 110
Using that cam the car was gutless down low but pulled to 6500-6700RPM

Re: 396 Dyno #'s Those numbers arent to bad...but man you need to get those heads ported and step up on the cam. If I were going after big streetable power from an 396LT1 I want some where in the neighberhood of 450rw. Im not knocking the numbers man but your leaving alot on the table if you know what I mean.
Re: 396 Dyno #'s It makes great power for having a cam that would be small even in a stock cube LT1. GMHTP got 420 out of their frist 396 with a CC305 cam and shoties. I dont know what the new one put down in thunder chicken.
