oil pump drive gear w/solid roller
Does any one know if you have to change the oil pump drive gear to bronze when running a solid roller? Any help would be great!

re
your best bet is to get a solid roller with a cast drive gear. If not, you can use the polymer gear from Comp. At the very least get a new oil pump drive gear when u put a solid roller in or for that matter any new cam in.

The cam card will distiguish which gear type you need (cast or bronze), it could go either way. If its solid roller, then you've spent a coin not only on the cam but valve train and heads to feed that cam. So its worth the insurance to just buy a new one with the swap.
Dont forget to put assembly lube on the gear before dropping it in!!
