Mine does the same.. My prior owner took out the ABS.. I don't think mine has traction control either.. he must have taken that off too.. It should throw a code like that, but I'm not sure what the exact code will say... Should have ABS or Low Traction light on for the error

same thing happened when i deleted my traction control. i never really researched it to find out why the abs inop light comes on. plus it never really bothered me since my ABS never really kicked on to begin with. you could put black tape over the light bulb

the abs, cruise control, and traction control are all controlled by that ugly thing sitting on the drivers side head / intake manifold. You get rid of it, everything else goes, you will also need to go ahead and delete the rest of the ABS system and install a proportioning vlv for your brakes to work correctly.

Wait, he would still have the ABS hydraulic control box on the driver's side of the car, I would think that there would still be a way to make the ABS work.

I tried a couple of different wiring options, none of which resulted in ABS operation...

no way to do it through the computer. but honestly, how many times have you actually had ABS kick on while driving.

I've had to emergency stop on occasion without ABS doing 70mph to a stop... I skidded about 100+ feet with smoke coming off the tires. Not something I wish to re-live, expecially at the track, so I'm looking to get a fix for my ABS INOP. I'm thinking mine is a rear speed sensor/reluctor wheel issue. <-- 12-bolt.
