pushrod length?

ok im not sure on pushrod length for my build does the length change depending on cam? or will it stay the same as stock? do lifters change the length u need? just a bit of info on pushrod length please. i dont have cam specs yet since the heads and cam are the last thing im gettin

Untill you buy the valve train and heads you wont know what length, I would also buy a push rod length checker.

My application with my LE set up called for a tad bit longer pushrod. If I were you I would invest in Summits or Comp Cams pushrod tool to assure the correct length

will do i guess ill just wait till after i have the heads and cam and ill read the link tonight wen im not sneekin over here at work

The pushrods were the last item I ordered because I wasn't sure about the length. The tool is adjusable and works good. You will prob end up needing a 7.15 to 7.20''. You could always order both and hope one of the sizes is correct

Hear ya. Nice thing about Summit is they return stuff with no questions asked and don't hit ya with a re-stock fee. Just hold off until you are ready to order the correct size. Good luck
