Default best OVERALL LT1 header

I mean best OVERALL. Best blend of performance, longevity, PRICE, and ease of install. Helping a friend out, so he can see my taillights from a little closer and need to know what direction to point him. Ease of install isn't too bad, we will have access to a lift. Price is the main factor.

Well as far as price probably the mac mid lengths and then get thyem coated...but if I were him Id save up for the ones I have which are jet long tubes they were 472 to my door coated and were beautiful. PLus longtubes will add the most hp.

I have Hooker Super Comp Shorties and love them.
Nice added hp (not as much as long tubes) and good gains in torque as well.

If your talking about all-out power, Hooker Super Comp Longtubes. A good balance would be Macs or Hooker shorties... I've heard mixed things about FLP longtubes... Other than that, you'd really need to ask Gangly... he's a freakin LT1 encyclopedia.

Best performance(longtubes), best longevity(just needs to be coated), ease of install(depending on your skills). So I would look for a set of coated longtubes with an easy installation. If you are anywhere decent with tools, no long tube will provide to much of a hassle. I would vote for coated hooker longtubes.
