sounds like a bad caliper. do bolth wheels do it? if soo than it could be a bad wheel bearing instead.

very common with LT1's and I have 2 LTx's car at the shop + my own which all have this issue

do the LS1 swap which don't have this issue + they are better brakes and lighter as well

OK well since it's apparently a common issue, I guess I don't have to ask if you have Line Lock and the switch engaged

it could be a few things, Frozen brake hardware, bad brake hoses or calipers!
To test hardware, compress caliper or undo bolts and see if the slides move! if they are free, try to compress the caliper (when testing hardware, compress it just a little bit!) while compressing it, slowly crack the bleeder, if it starts compressing very easily, your hose is bad, if it is still hard to compress then your caliper is froze!!! I hope that helps!

and the ls1 has a more common problem with of locking the front brakes, I actually can NOT think of one 98+ car that I have done brakes on that the hardware was not froze, frozen too the point that I have to torch them out!!

the calipers are usually ok, it the slides that go into the bridge, I can't count the number of times we have had to put new hardware in 98+ cars!
Not denying that the stopping power is amazing, and they are lighter, but the hardware is a ver common problem!
