i have 5k in my pocket which cam will do the job??????? i was looking at a lt4 hot cam kit. from what i hear they will only put me around 330-340. i want to be 350. any idea what kind of cam will put me up there on stock heads? or should i get heads also?

The cam I'm using.

But if you've got 5k in your pocket, I would get a heads and cam package from Lloyd Elliot or Advanced Induction. You can get a decent heads and cam package for under 2k. And the rest of the money can go towards full bolt-ons, gears, and a stall if you have an auto.

Recommended Usage: Stock 350cid - 396cid short-blocks with piston relief/dish volumes of 5-16cc. Finished chamber size after milling is 52-56cc depending upon application. With supporting modifications, manual stock short-block F and Y-bodies can produce 395-435rwhp SAE corrected or 415-455rwhp STD corrected. For 440-475rwhp SAE pair this head with one of our ported intakes and a valvetrain upgrade. Whether it's a 400rwhp street sleeper, a brutal 10-second NA street car, or an outrageous 1200hp+ turbo engine this head is guaranteed to deliver!

LT1 LE2 heads are capable of producing 370 RWHP with our small 218/224 custom cam and 410+ RWHP with our 232/240 custom cam.

LT1 LE2 heads consist of :
Manley 2.00/1.56 6000 series valves
PAC 1218 bee hive springs (145 lbs seat and 340 lbs open)
Steel retainers and locks
205 cc intake port
milling, cleaning and assembly
flow about 275/190 CFM
assembled and ready to bolt on

$1350 for LT1 LE2 heads.
$1650 for LT1 LE2 heads and any custom billet cam mentioned above.
