Lt1 or Ls1? But go with LPP headers and you might as well grap their Y-pipe while your at it. They're $500 for the headers and only another $100 if you buy the Y with them.

+1. For 500 you can get some Pacesetter ceramic coated long tubes and their y-pipe. I agree with getting the LPP's, but its release date is undetermined.

and as far as the tune goes... I would just wait until fou have something done to the car that really needs a tune like a cam of spray. Just a waste of $ otherwise.

They look fine to me. Unknown brand, but it's stainless steel and the price is not too bad. I hope the fitment and clearance are good.

I just got my LPP LT'S on and started yesterday. I would wait until the are available. they sound great and will probably outlast the car.

I just bought a set of these yesterday as well. I emailed the guy and this is what they said:

hi, they're full 304 stainless. i think the flanges are 1/2" thick but i can check the warehouse next time im there. these are not the same headers other people on ebay are selling, i have yet to hear of issues. no, i don't have pictures of the y pipe yet, i literally received them yesterday and they're a new product of ours.

They look exactly like Pacesetters with how the tubes are routed, so I hope they fit well.

A good tune should get you another 5-15 depending on what kind of tune you get. Most just do a mail order which generally gives you another 8-10.

I would do a tune after full bolt-ons. CAI, headers, full exhaust, and rr's. But if you are planning on doing a cam soon, then do a tune afterwards.

Be ready to hand them their asses! Even a full bolt-on LT1 will perform well, now add a cam and heads... What cam you thinking of?
