The increased lift and reduced friction is worth power. Maybe 10rwhp over stock. Plus you will notice your revs being quicker and smoother. At the very minimum you will have to swap in some LT4 springs.

Make sure you get the FULL roller rockers not just the roller tipped. I have the comp pro mag 1.6's. Great rockers.

From what i was told by Lloyd Elliott is, going with 1.6 rockers & a good set of springs is worth around 18-20 rwhp & is noticable, especially in the 5-6000 range, & getting a good new set of springs is key, the stock springs are medioker from the factory, but on a 100K plus engine there wore out & junk, LT4 springs are fine if you don't plan on a cam change, but if you want to keep your options open for a cam, get a decent spring like the 918s or the 915s, they will last along time on the stock lazy lobes & won't wear out for that new cam down the road, but you'll need a good chromemoly PR too handle the extra spring load. Thats the route i might be taken.

If you're looking into a cam in the future, some good springs to look at are the Patriot Golds. You can get the whole kit with titanium retainers, locks, seats, and valve seals for just $255+shipping. Piecing together even some 918's, with just steel retainers, is going to cost more than that. I ended up getting some 918's, and everything, and ended up spending around $370. But, decided I wanted some springs that could handle a little more lift, to be on the safe side, since I'll be running a cam with 1.7RR's. So, I sold them to get the Patriot kit. It's a hell of a deal.

Yeah, those patriots sound like a great deal, i was just useing the 918s as an example to get a good spring the 1st. time & be done with it, so he can upgrade a cam later if he wants.
