Default Clearance block for 383

Can I still use a stock stroke crank on a block that has been clearance for a 383?

Has the block also been bored 30 over?
Just curious, no money for the 383?

Yes block is .030 over. Just have all parts for 355 but found a .030 over / splayed main block.

Ill work just fine, just make sure that both crank and pistons are set up for a 355.
If you use a 3.48 crank with 3.75 pistons, you're going to have ultra-low compression.
(Piston sitting .135" below)

low compression is what I am going for. At least 9.x:x looking for some mahle -31cc pistons but can't find a site anywhere. Supposedly this is for an eagle crank and rods (which I have) IF not I will just fork out the money for some -24cc diamond pistons with the money I got from my SRP's it shouldn't be so bad.
