He probably blew his motor and didnt know the difference between the lt1's and was sold an impala lt1 instead of a camaro/corvette lt1. see in it happen a few times, even on my other camaro i use to own. (not done by me by the way) lol

Well if you blow a motor and you are just looking for a stock replacement, there is very little difference in going with a LT1 out of a B-body. The heads are iron and the cam specs are a little different, but its not a huge deal.

Well ya i was just sayin thats probably all he was doing(stock replacement), not putting on steel lt1 heads on his original motor for performance.
