Just make sure you get the whole set, both sprockets and the chain. I just replaced mine it had 170,000 miles on it and the gears were worn out! They had marks on every tooth where the chain had started digging in to it. The new set had ALOT less slack in the chain. I dont think I was too far away from jumping timing.

Some have seemed to miss the fact that he said he has a 1994. In that case, he has a non-vented opti (I saw nothing about a vented conversion). So...he basically can use only a stock (or stock type) set that has the provision in the cam gear to turn his optispark. An LT4 ED will not work.

I did a full top end build and just went with a Stock replacement from the dealer(it was in stock) My motor only had 32k
Shbox is right youll need to convert to a vented opti to use the LT4 set up anyways. You can use a double roller but its not needed and I beleive you need to switch to an EWP for that also.
I have asked my times and I still have never heard of a Stock set up actualty failing.
