I was asking LT1>LS1 if he was running the LPP headers. Obviously, you're running them.
Does your car have the factory oil cooler? If so, it will have to be removed for an oil filter to fit in the stock location.

nope just the filter under my junker lol i should have my relocation kit tomorrow. i think that will solve my problem. has any one had a problem the the top of the flange having a very small gap between the head and header flange only on the top side? mine are tight on the bottom but not on the top. also i got my lpps brand new of ebay for 499.99 exactly shipped is the the going rate? this was with the y pipe

i didnt have an oil cooler.
and yes, I have the longtubes. I installed them myself.......by myself.....it SUCKED.....happy with results though. make sure to have a buddy help.

do you have ur oil cooler hooked up? if so u need to delete it and replace the bolts and u could just use a ac delco filter works perfect there is no need for a relocation kit. you should call or email carl. man i don't understand y urs wouldn't fit. their is plenty of room on my car when i removed the oil cooler w/ my LPP's.

If the PF454 won't fit, and you don't have an oil cooler, maybe there is something up with the header. If you're planning to relocate the oil filter, it may not matter. I would do a search and see if people have experienced this issue with Kooks stepped headers. Personally, I've never heard of anyone having an issue. How much room do you have between the block and the header? Are you positive you don't have an oil cooler?

ok im an idiot when you said oil cooler i was think like an after maker tranny cooler lol. i got the oil cooler off and the filter went right on no problem i thick i can even run a full sized filter now thanks for the help. any one know what to set the lt4 hot cam 1.6 rrs at? thats about the last thing i have to do to start the car
