Might as well go 6A since we have a computer controlled rev limiter. I don't think you have to have a AL to run a window switch, if you plan to run a huge shot of NOS later.

Don't know how well they work on computer controlled cars, but if you don't want to waste money, get a Digital 6 Plus

The only difference between the two is the 6al has a rev limiter where the 6a doesnt. I have a 6a laying around i need to get in at some point.

Wish I knew if this Digital 6 Plus I have works :\ I'd sell you it for the price of a 6AL. I don't feel like trying to wire it up to my 90 Corolla to check though LOL

To be honest, unless you are going to run over a 150shot, you'd be wasting your money buying a multi-spark box That's my opinion though. If it's a Drag Strip Queen of a car, then get one, it might help a slight bit.

I run MSD6AL, either one is fine 6AL just has rev control you can swap different chip's for a rev limiter

MSD6AL gives you stronger spark at higher RPM range. People say they don't notice the stronger spark but its more about what it does which is giving stronger spark when the opti isnt doing it at high rpm's.

BTW, if you plan to get one, i would recommend the MSD harness for it, wont have to splice any wires.

+1 on that all the way! Makes it a breeeeze!
I think MSD's # is 8876 for it. It lists it in the manual that comes with it, or you can find the manual online too if you pick up a used box.

Will the MSD 6a box help a bolt on LT1 with possibly a cam later on? Trying to decide whether to throw it on the GTO or the Z/28 lol

With just a cam?..the answer is no! But like Formula and everybody else is saying if you stroke it or use NOS the answer is yes it will help.

Well if you are not spraying, then you should be fine without one.
