Inspection

Hey whatsup guys i gotta pass inspection this comin month but I'm running longtubes and an ORY. Well i gotta have visual cat and pass the sniffer here where i live in texas in Ellis county. Do you guys think i can weld a cat in after the Y-pipe or cut a peice from the Y-pipe and weld a cat on it? Or do i need to buy catted Y-pipe...what do yall guys think i should do?

You'll have to find out exactly what the visual inspection will entail. Some inspection stations will fail you strictly for MOVING the cats, whether you have them or not.

work on finding a cool shop, I used to get all my old rig's passed no matter what I did to them. but now I have an OBDII car

Do yall think i'll pass the sniffer if i gut my old cat out and just put it on there so i can pass the visual test?

I highly doubt it. like I said find a cool shop that will use another vehicle on the sniffer
