Bilsteins or AGX

Putting a set of Eibach's on the car and need new shocks. What do you guys think will work better? A set of bilsteins or the AGX...can't afford the koni's, not for my daily driver anyway.

For a daily driver go with the AGX adjustables, no way would I do bilsteins... You can fine-tune the 'feel' for what YOU ultimately want with the AGXs...

Either one would work just fine. A local friend of mine on here has a brand new set of the Bilsteins for sale at a good price if you are interested.

Bilsteins do not work well at all on lowered cars. AGX or Konis.

Never heard any issues with the guys I know running them on their lowered fbods

There won't be "issues," but they are not valved for anything other than stock springs and won't work very well.

This came right from Sam Strano's mouth when I was looking at them. Just passing that info along.

This is on his newer style shocks. The ones my buddy has were bought well over 2 years ago and they were designed different

I'm speaking about today...he doesn't re-valve anymore...there are only off the shelf Bilsteins now. He told me to stay away from them with the Pro-Kit.

Thanks for the input. I ended up getting the Eibach pro kit, with the KYB AGX's all the way around with a UMI on car adjustable panhard bar with polyurethane bushing on both ends. Also went ahead and got new front strut mounts, bearings, rear spring isolators, and rear bump stops. I hope this will handle better than my 167,000 mile factory stuff.

Yea, the torque arm, subframe connectors, and lca relocation brackets are next but the wallet is empty for a few months now. Thanks again.

I did all those and they made a great difference in the ride and handling. Good luck with the changes!

The agx's neither the bilsteins are that great with sam's springs but they both work. As said a million times if you want the maximum benefit of sams springs you have to get the KONI's! But me like most dont have a $1000 for a set of shocks!!
