I just took the stock muffler off and put a pipe in place of it and put duals out the back. IMO sounds good and is decently loud.

If you want it LOUD go SLP LMII.. if you want it loud but not annoying at times, go Magnaflow

I have just shorties and a LMII right now... and my car is ANNOYING driving on trips.. Just driving the 2 hour trip to Iowa City back when my factory amp was broken was so annoying! it sounded awesome at first hearing my car that loud.. but only for 10 minutes of driving

Ok so looks like magnaflow and ecut out then.
One other thing, if i get the SLP LM2 kit would i need the adapter, allready having an ORY installed? Everyone i ask gives me a seperate anwser. Im not sure what it is, but every "sponsor" i talk to, seems to be less intrested in making money....and with the economic downturn and all.....

yes you need an adapter or half a shop make one for cheaper

the SLP LM is designed for the LS1 and retrofitted to the LT1 using that S-curve pipe

Even with the Y pipe? because the y pipe moves the location wher ethe cat back would initially hook up, over to the driver side of the car. no?

Ok so i figured im gunna go with the Magnaflow and a cutout, because i can get a good deal on the magnaflow.

For the cutout, what would you suggest, DMH or QTP? Speed inc has them for 199.99/184.99 respectively.

Ive got a good deal on the catback new shipped. I just need input on the cutout, does anyone have problems with QTP? Is dmh worth the increased cost?

from my experience I've seen that e-cutouts can be somewhat problematic but if it's something you want to do then I've seen more people run QTP, not sure if this is based on quality or simply name recognition

also not sure if it's just a motor or not with either but you might have to pickup a manual cutout for a base and summit has some cheap ones

The ones im ordering come with a pair, its $20 additional to the electric motor, so its all good. But people manage to run the QTP and not have too many problems? Apparently the DMH has a 3 year warranty..but im not sure how well that will hold up seeings as im over boarder to the place of sale.

I'd rather have the one with a good warranty if it works for you imo

bigbadwhitey i have the electric QTP cutout i have had it for like 6 months and no problems at all. also the prices u gave are a little steep. i think mine only cost me like 160 shipped and it was brand new and everything i needed. i cant remember where i want to say i got it from summit or ws6 store. i really cant remember.
