blk97z28 Man just use vht it looks alot cleaner. i had taillight covers and they look not nearly as good as just using vht. you could buy just one can of vht and end up doing all your lights. i put like 4 or 5 coats of vht and then 3 or 4 coat of clear. covers are a waste of money. mine are a little dark, but with lights on u can see them just like stock. if you dont want them real dark just spray one coat at a time and get it the way you want.

well i just used duplicolor clear that i picked it up at advanced auto parts. just any clear coat will work. just make sure you use even strokes. when i did my tails i had to get my buddy to come back and sand them a little and re clear it for me cause it was a little flat. he is a painter, so he then just re sparayed it in a little more even strokes. but i did all of my lights including the rear markers and the front turn signals and marker light. you can kinda see them in my pics on here. just go into my album and check em out. good luck. but it looks way better than covers once its done.

I had the GT Styling tail light covers until I lost one on the highway. Next time I am using VHT. I have the GTS turn signal covers and they look gook. I also have the headlight covers (not installed) but they were a PITA so I stuck them back in the box.

I had a set of AVS covers from Summit. They are like $50.

The only downside to these are that they didn't come with velcro tape. I bought the same brand for my Iroc and it did come with tape. They slip on pretty good but velcro is a must. I lost one on the highway going down to VA Beach from my place. I bought another set because of how well they let light through. Yet, my Iroc tails are too dark with them on. It could just be the lights being dim but they are fine on my car.

When I get bored I will do them right with VHT.
