Great looking Z! I have sort of a dumb question though. Are the TT2'S in reference to the wheels? Are they made by American? I have a 71 z28 coming out of extended hibernation this spring and would like to replace the current cragar ss's with those wheels. You know you can go on websites and look at different wheels, but seeing them on a car like that, WOW.

Yes they are TT2's and they are made by American Racing. Thanks for the compliment. My wheels get more compliments than anything else on the car.

That's a nice looking Camaro. Especially with TT2's and lowered. Nice job.

I got all my brake stuff from Jim at brakemotive. His thread is called "Powerstop" and can be found under the sponsor section. I got a killer deal on them and encourage everyone to give him a call.

What did you use to polish your exhaust? Does it hold its shine pretty well after being driven for awhile?

I think you should tint your windows, if you're into that sort of thing. I know it looked really nice on my car, but I have a hardtop.

I polished that exhaust in May of 2008 and haven't touched it since. I drive my car everyday. I'm sure you can see from the picture that it has been holding up okay. When I first did it I had it off the car and it took me about 5 hours with a pheumatic polisher, and it looked like a mirror. What's really cool is at night my wife said her headlights would reflect off of it when she was driving behind me.

I probably should have polished mine before I put it on the car. I considered it, but didn't do it.

Glad to see you got the brakes on your car! they look great! I'm sure you answered this already as i did not read through the whole thread, but what do you use to polish the exhaust like that? I have used the mothers polish recommended to me by some Harley guys but can never get pipes to stay that clean!

I use an aircraft aluminum, metal polish called "Met-All". It's pretty expensive but well worth the metal, and to be honest, if you don't know anyone in the aircraft industry I don't know that you could get it.

Same can and name brand but mine says "Metal Polish" instead of "Aluminum Polish". Maybe it's just the picture but it looks just like that can with a different label. It's also cheaper at your link than what I pay for it.
