I cant pay $1,000 for tires on my 18inch ZO6 rims right now so I have been looking for 16X8 chrome 5 stars. I came across a set of mint chrome salad shooters with decent tires on them that I may pick up but I dont know if I should wait to find the 5 stars. The 16 inch tires arent an issue because I have a set with 90% tred left for the 5 stars but the salad shooters have tires also. Cant figure it out. What should I do? $200 for the salad shooters with tires.

Mint chrome salad shooters for $ 200 w/tires don't sound bad at all. I paid 400 for at set of mint chrome 5 stars w/new tires on them. Then sold th tires for $120.

 

thats not a bad deal at all but if you really want those other rims then i say save up for them if u like them that much better

 

I know salad shooters are salad shooters but you dont see them in chrome too often. I will pick them up, what the hell. Im sure I could re sell them down the road as long as I keep them mint.

 

why don't you look for used tires for the z06s. I bought sumitomos off here for right around 200 shipped

 

My buddy bought silver salad shooters for his 96z,and then had the fronts cut down to a 16x4. He runs a 26x11.5x16 in the rear and a 26x5.5x16 in the front. Looks good like that. Kinda sleeper.

 

Wish you were closer, im going to be getting rid of my 5 stars soon for some welds

 

Yea it always happens that way.

Maybe ill search around for some tires. If anyone has 295 35 18 let me know (Rear)
