Say what ya want, I just got back from the dyno with one of my buddies. I talked him into buying a cam from Bret for his 2002 SS Camaro.

He installed the cam exactly as instructed, set up the springs with the heads on the car exactly as instructed.

This is a CAM ONLY car, here are the mods:
Underdrive pulley
1 3/4 Jet Hot headers
2.5 inch Y pipe
Stock SLP Dual Dual exhaust that came on the car(no cutout)
Stock SLP lid that came on the car
3.90 rear gears
THATS IT FOR MODS!

Here is what it put down,

SAE corrected
403RWHP
370tq

Uncorrected
420rwhp
381tq

Car drives AWESOME, will burn the 315/35/17 rear tires all the way through second gear, WILL NOT cam surge, even in 6th gear at 1400rpm. Idles very good at 950rpm.

Again, say what ya want, Bret specs a bad *** cam!

Uncorrected is the horsepower it made in the air and alitutde that was in the exact spot where it was dynoed.

SAE corrected is the horsepower it would make on anyones dyno, anywhere at anytime. In other words the RWHP is factored for the altitude, or air density.

WHich means, if you dynoed the car at a dyno in Miami Fla in January, it would dyno more than if you dynoed it on a dyno in Colorado in August. There is more air in Miami in Jan. Get it? It is a standard altitude/air correction. Theoretically you could dyno the same car on any dyno anywhere at anytime and it would dyno the same thing. As long as you didnt change the car.
