headers trouble

Default headers trouble

so i just got my mac midtube headers and when i tried installing them it looks like there is no hole on the drivers side towards the back of the engine for the header bolt. there is one hole but it is not lined up at all.

please help me as i am lost

Align the headers onto the bolt hole on the back of the driver side header. There are two sets of bolt holes that you can use. If I remember correctly, my MACs used the outside holes. See if that helps.

the hole in the far back isn't a hole for a bolt its more of a tiny indent.
what should i do?

You should have a pair of identical bolt holes at each end of the block. Some headers use the inner pair, some use the outer pair. It sounds like you are either trying to use the wrong bolt hole or there is a busted bolt inside of it.

Nah, I know what you are talking about, my headers had that on them, just had to line up a gasket to the header, mark where the whole is and drill it out.

and he has got the 94, thank you so much i spent about 20 minutes trying to turn that bolt in there in about 15 degree weather. pissed me off.
so it is safe to drill that then?

yeah, i just put the header on the ground, stood on it to hold it, and drilled away
