Default P1441 annoyed please help

I've been dealing with this code for too long I've replaced the solenoid and the check engine light came back on after a week and a half. I passed smog already in the time that was off so I guess it doesn't matter a hell of a lot but I'm tired of seeing the SES so yea...

Any way, p1441 is the code where the stupid evap system is purging constantly, so having replaced the solenoid already should I try the vacuum switch? or what?

Thanks in advance

It might be the vacuum switch (as it is the thing that does the reporting to the PCM). You could always do a little detective work with a vacuum gauge and see if it it telling the truth.

Its common for the canister to start breaking up and the charcoal pieces get stuck in the purge solenoid keeping it open. I fought this problem for a year and I just kept blowing the purge solenoid out. I sould have replaced the canister but sold the car before I got to that.

I replaced the solenoid in the engine bay, and the valve near the gas tank, which wasn't fun. I'm pretty sure that fixed up the code, but I soon after got it tuned and had EVAP codes removed from the computer. lol

SOLENOID rests on the passenger side of the intake manifold below/beside the fuel rail and connects by a vacuum line to the throttle body.

the VALVE is located behind the driver side rear wheel well near the charcoal canister

you can dive into the canister or solonoid first...but first replace the gas cap...pretty common to set 1441

If you replace the canister make sure you blow the line out to get any charcoal chunks out before you hook it all up.
