I am posting to correct my-self,the springs are drop in,but if you use any stock diam. spring(howards also)the damper will set on top of the locator,and probably will be damaged and break,so Badazz knows his stuff.I installed some of these a while back,I asked my buddy what retainers we used on them and he said I used comp cams (4772) locators(he kept the old package) ,they came with the springs).I am sorry ,I guess I am just getting old,but I still highly rec.the 235d,hes got about 30,000 miles ,with a cc305 cam.
