just got the quote from the machine shop new studs and bearings on the axles $355. top seal rings and diamond pistons $800 all machine work and balancing of rotating assembly $775.

that all sound about right 200 for the rings 600 for the pistons sounds right. but 355 on the axles sounds alot to me.

ill post vids my dads kinda pissed about the video camera though i tried postin vids and the camera had to be plugged in and i plugged th wrong cord in and fried the 500 dollar camera so either ill be buyin one or he will.

but the block is in perfect shape but for some reason the guy that built it didnt use forged pistons???! and also cuz the 2 bolt mains he was a good guy we drove 8hrs to get it and wen he showed up we talked for 2hrs about cars. he builds 3 motors a month for fun though

Not a chance, especially with a 27" tall tire. The 3.70 may help on traction problems by killing some of the torque you are putting to the pavement....and you will have plenty of torque with the stroker motor. Play with some of the calculators on the link here for selecting gear ratio's...may help with some of your planning. Can't wait to see this done!! And cool girlfriend! They are hard to fine!

Sounds like a smart move with the ci. you will be running. Same thing with the 3.73s, the nitrous is going to make that puppy wind up pretty quick.

yea ive always wanted to go with the trickflow and AI had told me the 200cc arent wat they would use but this build started as a minor rebuild. then went to a build to handle the nitrous then to the 9.80s goal and it seems lik its taking another turn.
