motor was dropped off this morning i just finished orderin the 10pt cage and ill be calling speed inc tomorrow for their lightweight carpet, awesomly priced fuel pump, and ewp. that should keep us busy for 2 weeks till the machine shops done. and we should start installing all the suspension parts we have as well.

the strange 3" chromoly driveshaft that i decided to let midwest chassis send me after a slight mistake. the parts above were ordered and tomorrow i have to contact burkhart chassis for the battery relocation kit while they have the sale. a few pics

well i had some fun takin out the interior took me a few hours cuz the seat brackets we made dont leave much wrenching room. now that the insides out we need to remove the dash which i think we'll get out later this week. after thats out our friend the welder is gonna get at the cage. i measured it all out befor i took it all out so hopefully we start wit the cage this weekend. here's a few pics. o i found like 20 bucks lol

hey guys how long is the dash removal goin to take will i be able to get it done in one night? our welders waiting so im tryin to get it to him saturday or friday night. but how long and difficult is it to remove?

the dash was a pain in the ***. a few hidden screws & fasteners, but it can be done in one night. looks like you are on track with the pics, it helps with the re-assembly. good luck with the build.

Check out the new clutch line from Mcleod. The old street twin set-ups simply shock the rear tires so hard that most tracks won't hold the car without staging & closing the air between the clutch discs - difficult to do with the ST.

alright will do im still undesided on a clutch i wanna spend the money for a twin but dont know

goin to tackle the dash tonight not lookin forward to it lol then this weekend im hopin to take the car to our welders house and have him install the cage. i may do a bit more tonight but the dash will probably take all the time i have

hey larry how longs the carpet take to ship? i assume you have to order it or something i got the other 2 things but im gonna need the carpet after the cage is in

carpet is normally in stock and ships within 1-2 days of the order

so i dont feel so bad about crackin the dash pad cuz now that i got it almost completly out i relized that it woulda been impossible not to break ill get some pics for ya later the only thing left is the passenger airbag and the one big main piece couldnt get it myself

o and i finally can get my second set of key that my brother dropped into the heat vent 2yrs ago

i got a new dash pad from someone on here for $50 in perfect condition. ordered a stroud window net kit from wolfe that i forgot to get with the cage. i SHOULD finally get the axels back tomorrow and ill be ordering the heads wed. or thursday. i made a different decision on those ill tell you guys after i get them (money was a big part but i didnt cheap out)

here's pics of the cage. its all welded to the plates just have to put the door bars in weld the plates to the floor window net and then get it cert'd and painted.

got started on droppin the motor out last night didnt get very far because we spent to much time cleanin the garage should be finishing it up tonight.
