if you use photo bucket it makes the pics much bigger and you dont have to click them to see them well. just set up a photobucket.com account (its free) then upload your pics, then when you wanna post them in a thread you hover over the pic in your photo bucket album. it gives you a drop-down box with 4 options. if you copy the one that says direct link you can paste it after you click "insert image" in your quick replies (in ls1tech). viola! big pics that look great! lol giver a try

This thread has given me inspiration to do more work to my car. Now I only need to fork out the extra $$ to do the work

I think I will go ahead and match port and polish my heads. I will leave them on until I get paid (to buy the required porting tools) but will do whatever work can be done in the mean time.

I was going to go for a full rebuild bro, Forged speed pro pistons, 0.030" overbore, forged rods, heads, custom cam, rebuilt tranny, Vig stall and Motive 3.73s, brakes, but more important things came up and I have priorities over my car. I even had the cash ready in hand to order the parts.

I do all the work myself so I save a lot in labor charges. I don't really trust anyone to do the work on my car, and if I don't have the tools for it (machine work) then I go to the workshop and supervise the job being done unless its a place I trust.

I like to do things once and do them right the first time.

Lets see your on the road laying rubber for 100s of feet

I am 22, working for 9 months and no responsibilities until now.

I had 2 job offers when I graduated, one was paying what I earn now, the other twice as much just as a basic. The higher paying job had no job security, so I went for the less paying job.

Otherwise, I would have already fully restored my car, full paint job and interior restoration, and a turbo or supercharged 383.

Do I regret not taking the risk? Yes. Do I regret being where I am today? No. At least I am not out of a job like the rest of the guys who did take it earning little is more than earning nothing.

Now, back to your build!

When is your ride going to be ready?

BTW, what did you use to port your heads?

Was that picture taken before or after you checked for clearance.

Are you still gonna run the stock water pump?

Ok I was just wondering. I'm going to be running a EWP also so I just took out the WP drive completey out and welded a slug in place of it . you may want to remove it ,It can take a little drag off the whole assembly.
