well after a very late and difficult night the rear is in the car and most of the suspensions on. sway bars off and the tq arm needs new bolts were it mounts on the chassis. we completly did it wrong twice first time we put the springs in and jacked it up tryin to mount the shocks. it took a 2' tumble off the jack. second time we put the lca's on and jacked it up it helped but forgot the tq arm and made it a pain at the end. another problem was missing bolts. either mice are walkin off with them or my friend that helped take it apart didnt put them where they should be. but its in here's a few pics.

hung the sway bar last night and check the wheel fitment over the new brakes. the greg welds barely fit over just the rotors and the jegs stars barely hit the calipers. so i need a new set of street wheels. forgot to take a pic of the sway bar finished hangin on the rear so here's the one pic i got.

thanks man

well guys one of the coolest things so far on the build was started last night. our one friend backed out but my dad had another who really really knows transmissions. so we cracked open the trans and he started to rebuild it. got it all apart we stopped because i need to get new blocker rings. but after we took it apart he actually took time to explain some things said it was one of the easiest trans' hes ever taken apart. also said it was real clean inside with not much wear if any.he'll be back sunday to finish it. here's a few pics i took.

well today has been AWESOME!!!! one of the best days of this build. we took a ride to the machine shop and picked it all up. it is sweet! have tons of boxes of parts from them and a ton of picks. also had carbon fiber blocker ring kit overnighted so the trans can be finished tomorrow. but the motor should get build this week. and possibly be between the framerails. but i go away on vaca for a week startin the 18th which i was lookin forward to but not anymore since ill be so close to gettin it done. well here's a bunch of pics.

so all the oiler rings are filed and fit. and half the compression rings are. these rings take time and hurt your hand lol

well got some well i think alot done last night not as much as i wanted to yesterday though because of some college shopping. we brought the rods and pistons inside and installed all the spiralox we thought that they'd take all night but turn out simple. then we got all the rings on the pistons. fixed our oil ring problem they didnt sit right thats because the diamond pistons came with a ring for the oil groove to fill space. so tonight they go into the block and the cam might too. i got some pics of my dad puttin the spiralox and rings on because i got a new phone.

well last night went well. hit one bump in the road but cruised the rest of the way. we hav a short block. pistons r in rod bolts reclearanced and torqued the cam is in and degreed the whole timing chain set up is on as well. the one thing that we had a problem with is the rods needed to be spun around because there's a thicker side and we had it facing wrong. so here's the pics i took throughout the night. tonight we'll get some play doe and check the valve clearance
