Son ran his brothers 98 ws6 ta stock,his has ,le cam ,lt, tru duals beat him twice. Dad gets in the car to see how fast it is ran it twice let off the gas and car wanted to die. Would not idle some noise coming from valve train. If it bent a valve probably would be backfiring. Possibly a lifter or the rockers wont know till I pull off a valve cover. Praying its nothing major. SEE YA

I'm not sure if I understand why this thread was started. Who is "his brothers" and what does a 98 T/A have to do with anything.

 

Ok, the way i'm reading it is, This guys son has a cammed LT1, he ran his brothers stock 98 TA, beat him twice, then the dad got in it to see how good it ran, thats when **** went wrong. The guy that started this thread is the Dad. He has 2 sons, one with a cammed LT1, the other has the 98 stock TA.

 

I guess he was bragging that the cammed LT1 beat the stock LS1.
